Abstract

The article is an attempt to interpret a schematic map entitled Kresy I i II Rzeczypospolitej (‘Kresy’ of the I and II Republic, published in Bolesław Hadaczek’s companion History of the ‘Kresy’ literature). I try to read this text of culture critically, showing on its example the abusive functioning of the ‘Kresy’ discourse.
